The "Exploring the Circle" series comes from a belief in the richness that symbols bring to our lives, as well as the multiplicity of meanings that a symbol can have. Circles can represent the cycle of life, the never-ending and infinite, a portal or opening, an enclosed space (and/or the space inside and outside), curves and arcs (versus straight lines and the angular), the wheel and motion, orbits, the earth (or planets), ripples in a pond, a mouth opened in a scream, and so much more.
